Years 7-10

English

Students from Years 7-10 deepen their understanding of language and literature. They engage with a variety of texts, enhancing their abilities in reading, writing, speaking and listening. They curriculum focuses on developing analytical, creative and critical thinking skills, encouraging students to appreciate the richness of the English language and its texts.

Humanities

The Humanities curriculum encompasses history, geography, economics, and civics and citizenship. Students explore the complex world of human society and the environment, developing an understanding of past events, geographical processes, economic principles, and the foundations of citizenship. Health and Physical Education

Health and Physical Education focuses on students' physical, social and emotional wellbeing. Through a variety of sports, activities, and health e3ducation, students learn about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, teamwork and personal resilience.

Technologies

Our Technologies curriculum covers both Design and Digital Technologies. Students learn to apply design thinking and use digital systems to create solutions to real-world problems. This equips students with the skills and knowledge to navigate and succeed in a digital world.

Maths

Maths at Bemin Secondary College is about more than just numbers. From Years 7 to 10, students explore concepts from number and algebra, measurement and geometry, and statistics and probability. VCE Vocational Major Pathway
