CURRICULUM
At Bemin Secondary College, we are proud to offer a curriculum that is as diverse as our community. Grounded in the Victorian Curriculum, our educational program is designed to foster intellectual, personal and social growth, preparing students for the challenges and opportunities of the future. From Years 7-10, our students engage in a wide range of subjects, each offering depth, challenge and the opportunity for personal exploration.
JUNIOR SCHOOL (YEARS 7-9)
The Victorian Curriculum at Levels 7-9 is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for challenges of the future. At these levels, students are expected to develop a deeper understanding of key concepts and skills across a range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, and the Arts. They are also encouraged to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that will serve them well in their future and careers. Overall, these y aim to provide students with a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.
SENIOR SCHOOL (YEARS 10-12)
At Year 10, students engage with the final level of the Victorian Curriculum, which is designed to prepare students for further education, training, or employment. From Years 10-12, students engage with the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) that they receive upon completing their secondary education in Victoria. It is recognized nationally and internationally as a high-quality credential demonstrating a student's academic achievement and readiness for further study or work.
