We are thrilled to announce that Abdullah, a Year 7 student at Bemin Secondary College, has made history as our first-ever participant in the prestigious Australian Informatics Olympiad, organised by the Australian Mathematics Trust!
Competing in the Intermediate Division, which includes students up to Year 10, Abdullah took on a series of challenging coding and informatics problems, demonstrating incredible skill and dedication. His hard work paid off with a Bronze result, a fantastic achievement for a Year 7 student competing against older peers.
This morning, at the Year 7 Assembly, Abdullah was presented with his award by our Assistant Principal of College Innovations and Organisation, Anthony Asta, who congratulated him on his success. Abdullah also had the opportunity to share his experiences in the competition, inspiring his fellow students with his passion for coding and problem-solving.
A huge congratulations to Abdullah for his outstanding effort and achievement! We are incredibly proud and look forward to seeing what he accomplishes next.
Well done, Abdullah!
